The role

This role is designed for individuals who want to go beyond conceptualizing governance and compliance in Microsoft 365 and actively implement it.

You will operate at the intersection of IT, compliance, and business, ensuring that governance measures are not only defined but technically implemented and sustainably embedded into operations.

You will work in a hands-on, high-impact environment, taking ownership of configuring, integrating, and implementing governance and compliance solutions across Microsoft 365 workloads.

Who we are looking for

This is a high-bar role for individuals who can translate M365 governance concepts into operational reality.

We are looking for someone who can structure technical and regulatory requirements and translate them into practical, scalable solutions.

The role is intended for individuals who are willing to take ownership, work in a structured way, and drive topics independently.

Your responsibilities

·       Design governance strategies and implement retention and deletion concepts (labels, policies, archiving) in Microsoft 365

·       Design use cases with business stakeholders and implement data risk solutions (e.g. sensitivity labels, DLP, information rights management)

·       Analyze and manage insider risk and oversharing risks

·       Design and implement governance automation (e.g. provisioning, lifecycle management)

·       Configure and integrate governance measures across M365 workloads

·       Ensure solutions are sustainable and effective in operational environments

Your profile

·       Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, including compliance and security functionalities

·       Proven experience delivering projects successfully, ideally in large enterprise environments

·       Experience with governance, lifecycle, and security implementations

·       Understanding of data risks and regulatory requirements

·       Structured, solution-oriented working style with strong ownership mindset

Additional expectations (Senior level)

•       Ownership of complex projects or workstreams, including quality, risks, dependencies, and outcomes

•       Ability to translate client requirements into executable solutions and drive implementation

•       Contribution to business development and proposal creation

•       Mentoring team members and ensuring quality
